Ceramic mat

Ceramic fibre refractory mats are ideal for multiple applications because of their unique properties:

- Adaptable to all shapes
- Resistant to most chemical treatments
- Low thermal shrinkage
- Low heat conduction
- High tensile strength

Refractory mats are used for lining areas that are exposed to extremely high temperatures. They are also ideal for covering heat-sensitive areas or objects. As they do not conduct heat, they can also serve as an insulating material.

The ceramic fibre mat is composed of long, flexible, interwoven fibres made by a 'blowing' and 'spinning' process, resulting in a strong, lightweight and durable mat for applications in the temperature range up to 1260°C. The fire-resistant ceramic fibre mat has the heat resistance of hard refractories and five times the insulating capacity.
