Fireplace sealing tape

Application

Knitted glass strips are an excellent sealing and heat insulating material for:

- fireplace inserts

- cookers and fireplaces heated with wood and coal

- wood-burning cookers, heaters

- central heating boilers

- domestic appliances exposed to high temperatures

The tape is equally suitable for use in any other location that is exposed to high temperatures. The tapes are made using the crochet technique on circular splicing cylinders. This determines the dimensions of the products made. The tapes are characterised by a soft, resilient weave and are made of glass-basalt-silicon yarn.

The products described are available in an impregnated (coloured) version. For this, we use carbon black or graphite dispersions with increased temperature resistance. The self-adhesive layer allows for a very fast and convenient installation of the seal on glass panes or door frames in fireplaces.
